**Join Focus on Fun Speech Therapy for Kids**

We are hiring part-time Speech-Language Pathologist Contractors to join our growing team. We offer support to children experiencing speech and language difficulties. We use play-based therapy that incorporates evidence-based practices, a neurodiversity-affirming approach, parent coaching, and a whole lot of fun

**What you get**

**Responsibilities**
- Complete speech-language assessments using a variety of formal and informal tools and write assessment reports as requested
- Develop individualized, family-centered treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide effective therapy sessions using play-based activities and evidence-based strategies
- Maintain client documentation as per ACSLPA's guidelines
- Coach parents about speech-language strategies they can implement to support their child
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., FSCD) to provide quality support for clients and families

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from accredited university
- Current registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
- Experience working with pediatric clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams are assets
- Clinical knowledge and expertise in the areas of speech sound disorders including childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), language delays, stuttering, autism, and social communication.
- Maintain professional liability insurance
- Possess a current driver's license and have access to a vehicle
- Willing to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Master's Degree (required)

Licence/Certification:

- ACSLPA registration (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-10-01
