The Executive Hotels and Resorts requires an energetic and motivated new Full-time Front Desk Supervisor to be responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing outstanding guest service during their stay, and settling the guest's account upon completion of their stay. This position is important for providing exceptional customer service, creating first and last guest's impression. Other duties will include registering guests, making and modifying reservations, acting as hotel operator, and performing concierge duties. The Supervisor must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to go above and beyond for each hotel guest. The Supervisor must have excellent selling skills, the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers. Must be well groomed at all times and maintain a professional appearance. Must be available to work night and day shifts, evenings and weekends.

**Requirements**:
- Must be able to work at least 5 days per week and NIGHTS and WEEKENDS
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Completion of a two-year apprenticeship program, or a college program in front desk/reservations operations or hotel management preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk or Reservations Clerk
- Experience in customer service and people management
- Must have an excellent telephone etiquette
- Must have an excellent English comprehension and communication skills
- Knowledge of second foreign language an asset
- Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Basic knowledge of accounting practices and principles
- Must be self-motivated and well-organized
- Must be able to multi-task with a excellent attention to details
- Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required - Excellent selling skills and attention to details
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
- Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- High level of proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (Agilysys preferred)
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
**Responsibilities**:
Tasks
Perform same duties as workers supervised
Assist clients/guests with special needs
Co-ordinate, assign and review work
Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Requisition materials and supplies
Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
Exchange foreign currency
Provide customer service
Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
Investigate and resolve complaints and claims
Take, cancel and change room reservations
Provide information on hotel facilities and services
Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
Process group arrivals and departures
Provide general information about points of interest in the area
Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
Follow emergency and safety procedures
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
Register arriving guests and assign rooms
Handle wake-up calls
Work Conditions:
