**Responsibilities**:
- Consulting with the employer and identifying employment needs
- Creating and posting job ads
- Interviewing potential applicants regarding their skills and experience
- Contacting references and performing background checks on applicants
- Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits and duties
- Assist with HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, terminations and employee record management
- Maintain Medical Benefits of North America employees
- Be involved with any HR issues that arise
- Manage staff events for milestones
- Work with supervisor to create company training programs
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a Human Resources related field in Canada
- Strong interpersonal, business presentation, and written communication skills.
- Ability to interface with multiple levels of leadership and management.
- Independent judgment and the ability to display appropriate common sense, manage ambiguity, analyze and resolve problems, ensure confidentiality, work with mínimal supervision, manage multiple projects and deadlines, show attention to detail, and exercise discretion in an environment of constant change are necessary.
- Requires computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelors degree or combination of relevant experience and education.
- Canadian Citizenship/Legally able to work in Canada
