**What we do**
Benmet Steel & Metal is a **leader in the Canadian scrap and recycling industry** located in Guelph, Stratford and Owen Sound, Ontario. We are one of the most established and reputable independent scrap metal processors in Ontario. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team as a **Scale Operator.**
**Responsibilities include**:
- **Scale** - Operation and cash management
- **Purchasing -**Commodities from our retail customers
- **Preparation** and completion of paperwork with an attention to detail.
- **Face to face time with customers**:
- **Developing** customer interactions with knowledge of the metal recycling industry
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel and Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexible, adaptable, with strong multitasking skills.
