**Temporary Full-time Duration: up to 12 months**

This position reports to the Supervisor, Program Business Support and Development and provides financial, technology, business and policy support, and document services that enable effective delivery of Human Services programs.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for varied office administrative support functions including:

- Extensive computer work, such as preparation of resumes, correspondence and completion of statistical reports/spreadsheets
- Schedule, reschedule and cancel appointments and workshops
- Contact Ontario Works participants regarding appointments
- Download and action electronic requests
- Execute all legal agreements/contracts for Ontario Works
- Liaise with clients, community agencies, elected officials and other departmental contacts
- Provide confidential support for all Ontario Works staff and clients

**Qualifications**:

- Secondary school diploma or educational equivalent, with at least one (1) year administrative or customer service experience
- Minimum 40 w.p.m. keyboarding
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently, with mínimal supervision
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment with continuously changing priorities
- Good interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Ability to exercise judgment to support good decision making
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with proficiency in English
- Knowledge of Ontario Works specific software preferred

**Compensation**:Band B - $45,356 - $53,237 as per the CUPE Local 966 Collective Agreement

**Location**:In this role you will have the ability to work remotely and attend on-site when required based on operational requirements at 10 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton. The frequency of on-site activities may vary on a weekly basis and based on operational requirements. Your remote work location must be located within the province of Ontario.

**Hours of Work***:35 hrs/week
