**Scheduling Coordinator (New Grad)** **(HFX)**:
Halifax, N.S. (Hybrid)

**Position Summary**

Reporting to the Coastal Planning Team Lead, for the role of the Scheduling Coordinator is to assist the Ship Maintenance Lead (SML) in organizing all required routines while developing an integrated schedule for the Work Period. The Scheduling Coordinator manages the preparation, monitoring, and maintenance of Work Period work lists and schedules. They ensure accurate and timely reports are produced as required along with updating real-time dashboards and communicating schedule changes across the enterprise. During the evolution of the Work Period, the Scheduling Coordinator will coordinate with the Technical Material Expeditor and advise if the identified Material is not in Stock. Additional tasks will include but not limited to; Raising Purchases Requisitions on behalf of the SML, collecting and organizing Objective Quality Evidence, and assisting Maintenance Coordinators with Work Pack Management.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Strong computer literacy, with proven experience with Microsoft products especially Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint;
- Experience and Knowledge with an ERP or EAM (SAP and Maximo Preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities;
- Excellent communications skills including the ability to prepare and present reports to a range of audiences;

**Preferred Qualifications**
- College Graduate with trade experience or postgraduate qualifications or trainings in the area of Business, Project Management, or Engineering
- Previous experience scheduling and/or planning projects
- Exposure to Scheduling Tools (Microsoft Project preferred);
- Experience in the Defence industry or marine industry as it relates to shipbuilding, ship repair, or ship maintenance

**Physical Demands**
- Predominantly working onsite in the Naval Dockyard and onboard Naval Vessels, will also be required to work from the office or from home.
