**Scope of the Role**

As the Key Account Manager (KAM), you will play an important role in ensuring customer satisfaction and retention by overseeing PiVAL’s most important clients.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the KAM is responsible for servicing all sales growth from our 2- & 3-star customers. The KAM’s main objective is to grow a strong partnership with Customer Succes to nurture long-term relationships and execute all organic leads driven by the key accounts to become the customer’s primary supply chain partner. The KAM will lead the development of supply chain leads by working with cross-functional teams such as Transport, Operations & Finance. Once the deal in closed, the KAM will work closely with Customer Success to ensure a seamless onboarding and maintain a strong customer experience to retain this business long-term. The goal is for PiVAL to become the primary supply chain partner of our key account and ensure repeat business.

**ROLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Service PiVAL’s Key Accounts by becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within PiVAL’s network to become the main resource to understand the specific needs and to develop a partnership relationship
- Work closely with Customer Success (CS) to ensure customer retention by developing review sessions with assigned CS for updates on customer strategy and priorities, adjustment of our value proposition, continuous improvement, and innovation, as well as operational excellence.
- Expand the relationships within existing customers to facilitate new business
- Conduct regular marketing research on Supply Chain industry to implement new solutions to optimize the supply chain of our customers
- Generate organic growth from existing account base by offering new supply chain solutions to increase revenue streams from key customers
- Present strategic plans to key accounts for PiVAL to become their primary supply chain partner of these customers
- Monitor monthly performance of key accounts to ensure immediate action is taken to guarantee strong customer experience
- Achieve quarterly Strategic Sales Objectives (SSOs) and new business within key accounts

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Experience: 2-5 years of account management experience - Supply Chain Sales being an asset
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (B-Comm) preferred but not required
- Other: Supply Chain Designation is an added benefit but not required
