**Shifts: Days (on-call coverage required)**
**Rate of Pay: $29.39 per hour**

Reporting to the Manager - Building Services, the Maintenance I - Multi Skill is responsible for maintaining grounds, installing, troubleshooting, moving, and repairing building components, property, equipment and fixtures throughout the Hogarth Riverview Manor site. Key responsibilities include maintaining various types of equipment that provide heat, light, power and other utility services for the buildings. This is achieved through safe working practices, proper planning and inspections, and adhering to governing codes in the maintenance and installation of equipment at the sites.

**Qualifications**:
**Education/Experience**:

- Secondary school education (minimum Grade 10)
- Directly related experience
- On-the-job training is provided

**Skills/Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, staff, Residents, contractors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills for accessing of information, updating preventative maintenance program and/or equipment troubleshooting

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
