**The Role**:
As an **Accounting Technician**, you will be responsible for managing the **day-to-day financial operations** of our Toronto center, including **invoice tracking and payments, petty cash management and banking transactions.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Process and track invoices** for timely payment and maintain accurate vendor records.
- **Manage petty cash supply** and ensure proper documentation of expenses.
- **Process company credit card transactions**, including reconciliation and reporting.
- **Reconcile daily and monthly sales** to ensure financial accuracy.
- **Prepare payroll-related reports**, including employee tip tracking and processing.
- **Coordinate with clients on escalated transaction investigations** and provide receipts/invoices as needed.
- **Process refund requests** and ensure compliance with company policies.
- **Regularly visit the local bank** to deposit funds into company merchant accounts.
- **Support the HQ F&A team** with additional financial and/or operational tasks as needed.

**Who You Are**:

- **High School Diploma required**; an **Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance** is a plus.
- **1-2 years of experience** in a similar finance or accounting role.
- **Strong attention to detail** and excellent organizational skills.
- **Ability to follow up on outstanding tasks and ensure timely completion.**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- **Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel**; experience with **accounting software**( Sage preferred)**is a plus.
- **Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.**:

- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
