**Job Profile**

As an Accounting Technician, will perform collection duties in support of business operations. This position reports to the Office Services Manager in our Toronto office.

**Key Responsibilities**

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Reconciling, verifying and maintaining client and project accounts
- Preparing and maintaining statistical, financial and accounting reports/statements
- Preparing and distributing accounts receivable reports
- Organizing the release of reports on revenue projections by Project Engineers, reconciling and preparing team summaries
- Referring accounts receivable issues to Project Engineers (PE) and/or Managing Principal
- Completing and submitting insurance and other required documents
- Maintain client information and financial records in the RJC records system
- Banking, data entry of deposits and filing of daily deposit records
- Responding to client inquiries and other accounting-related issues
- Assisting the Office Services Manager with Special Projects

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**
- Completion of accounting courses through a recognized university or college
- Minimum 1-2 years of related Accounts Receivable experience with project based accounting experience in the architect or engineering industry
- Familiarity with consulting engineering and architectural industry
