**SUMMARY**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation & setup of the 80 to 110 ton presses as applicable.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- May include, but are not limited to, the following:_
- Operate coil feeder and stamping presses.
- Review daily work orders for Stamping presses and prioritize run schedule based on required date or as instructed by Production Supervisor or Technical Lead Hand.
- Perform pre-shift inspections.
- Monitor Quality of material and report deficiencies to Production Supervisor and Quality Control Inspector.
- Work with Quality Control to troubleshoot and address any damaged parts.
- Perform a pre-shift inspection of forklift.
- Operate Forklift to load coil to machine.
- Ensure accurate packaging and labeling of finished goods.
- Report any equipment malfunctions to Maintenance Technician or Technical Lead Hand.
- Assist with maintenance and setup team. Perform regular maintenance.
- Inspect samples for QC audit, setup embossing rolls (for recoilers).
- Setup die changes, as applicable (for presses).
- Complete DSI reclassification, as applicable.
- Maintain housekeeping /cleaning of equipment and around assigned work area.
- Operate equipment/machinery following all Safety procedures.
- Participate in Department and Company meetings, as applicable.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, as applicable.
- Must work inventory day when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or Technical Lead Hand.

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must have completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Must have experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous press operating experience
- Demonstrates ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently without assistance.
- Ability to complete production reports accurately.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Team player, strong interpersonal skills.
