We are a specialized distributor of engineered fasteners to the automotive and industrial industry throughout North America, Asia and Europe. We currently have an opening for a **Full-time IT Tech Support - Level II _(6 MONTHS CONTRACT)_** with the possibility of extension ( on-site role)
**Areas of Responsibility**
A. Provide daily technical support to end users — staff is located in warehouse, office, and remotely. Identify root cause of support requests and recommend solutions for re-occurring issues. Hardware issues (keyboards, monitors, mice, etc.) software help (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook) _Approximately 40%_
B. Create an IT Operations Manual and document/update various IT processes. Such as, label management (creation, revisions), industrial label printers, adding/removing user accounts _Approximately 30%_
C. Re-organize network shares, file storage, and educate users on best practices. Document company hierarchy in relation to security/permission groups _Approximately 20%_
D. Ad Hoc requests (as needed) _Approximately 10%_
**Required Skills**:
Minimum 5 years experience in the following:
**End user support and troubleshooting in person and remote**
**Create IT documentation for internal procedures**
Administer Active Directory, add/remove accounts
Hardware setups, installation and upgrades
First point of contact for IT related issues
Rotate/monitor backups, tapes and scheduled jobs
Mapping network resources for both local and remote users
Setup and manage users on Wi-Fi networks
Client support for VPN connectivity
Troubleshoot connectivity issues
**Nice To Have**
Warehouse environment, thermal label printers and barcode scanners
Assist users with virtual meetings (Teams, Zoom, WebEx)
Cloud storage and data management
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
