Forklift Operator/order Picker

Concord, Canada HAREMAR PLASTIC MANUFACTURING DIVISION Full time

**Summary**: As a **Forklift Operator**, you will be playing a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout our plant.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Put away stock in racking by operating a Raymond Reach Class II and/or Forklift Class I.
- Check accuracy of lot #, product code, and quantity for inventory control.
- Pick orders for outgoing shipments.
- Organize and maintain product locations by regrouping, collecting and sorting products.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Loading and unloading trailers.
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to maintain continuous material flow.
- Maintain good housekeeping practice in work areas.
- Follow all plant safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOP's).
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, safety and other standards including BSCI.
- Understand and comply with all HACCP and GMP policies.
- Completes all required documentation and paper work.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Secondary School education.
- Minimum 3 years experience operating a variety of forklifts, including reach trucks
- Ability to safely lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient skills in using RF Scanner.
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and procedures.
- Previous experience working in high racking environments and narrow aisles is essential.

**SHIFT TIMINGS**:
**Monday to Friday - 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (8.5 hrs shift)**
**(Total 5 days a week, 42.50 hours TOTAL)**

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
