Collins Aerospace is looking to hire **Process Technician - Weekday Nights**, Reporting to the Plating & Processing Supervisor, the Process Technician - S-Nickel will be involved in the electroless nickel plating of aircraft components.

**Work Location: Oakville Facility, Ontario - Canada**

**Shift Hours - Weekday Nights - Monday - Thursday (8:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.)**

**What You Will Do**:

- S-Nickel plating and masking of aircraft components, including preparation of components, to customer specifications and development of work techniques
- Part fixturing, loading and unloading
- Tank/chemistry maintenance and associated tooling
- Act as a cross functional team member and support various processes as requested
- Participate in lean initiatives (i.e. 5S, TPM, process improvement teams)
- Communicate and co-ordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts
- Observe and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Use overhead cranes to move parts
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications We Require**:

- Typically, High school diploma, with 1 - 3 years previous process chemistry background.

**Qualifications We Prefer**:

- Plating experience
- Sound working knowledge of measuring equipment such as calipers and Elco meters
- Experience in reading and interpret blueprints and work with various hand tools
- Strong understanding of WHMIS
- Demonstrated ability to work as a cross-functional employee
- Verbal and written communication skills (English)
