The **Coordinator/Logistics** will follow and track purchase orders from initial purchase order (PO), through production scheduling, movement to port, coordination with freight forwarder, documents preparation and movement to ocean, including tasks related to these activities.

**Essential Duties**

The following duties are an overview of the primary duties and responsibilities of the **Coordinator/Logistics**and should not be considered an all-inclusive list:

- Ensures product on-time arrivals by effectively collaborating with production scheduling and third party logistics providers to assure proper documents are available to facilitate import and export functions.
- Reviews shipping documentation with third party logistics and Sales for assigned orders and maintains accurate records of the transactions.
- Effectively manages and updates international consolidation and container programs.
- Works with suppliers, third party logistics, and Sales for processing, scheduling and tracking air shipments.
- Completes purchase order receipts and sales order fulfillments in company approved software for all orders.
- Reviews estimated delivery notices (EDN’s) for all orders and files according to standard operating procedures.
- Investigates and conducts root cause analysis and problem resolution for imports, exports and domestic shipments in a timely manner.
- Tracks, analyzes and communicates key performance metrics to reporting manager.
- Clearly communicates with customers (internal and external) in a proactive manner that reflects the Flair philosophy of exceeding customer expectations for excellent customer service.
- Effectively coordinates operations between all modes of transport (ocean, air, consolidation, domestic and small packaging) between third party logistics and internal Sales.
- Coordinates with customs broker to review, analyze and provide Harmonized tariff codes as requested.
- Demonstrates proficiency in job duties by streamlining processes and procedures, follows standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and works cooperatively to provide quality customer support.
- During team member absences, fills in as needed to ensure that the additional workload is completed to ensure constant customer satisfaction.
- Provides general clerical support such as composing and typing letters, creating and maintaining file folders and filing system in organized and chronological order.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.

**Inventory Control duties**:

- Supports the month end warehouse audit and reconciles and communicates discrepancies, variances and estimated arrival dates to the Materials Management team.

**Required Training, Experience, Licenses and Certifications**

In addition to performing satisfactorily all of the duties and responsibilities of the position, an individual in this position must possess and maintain the following knowledge, skill, qualifications and/or abilities:

- High school diploma required.
- 1-5 years prior import/export experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Prior experience in logistics, shipping procedures and freight management required.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language at a level adequate to perform job functions. Spanish and/or Korean are a plus but not required.
- Experience working with MS Office Suite of products
- Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, methods and computer equipment.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions promptly and accurately.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Company employees, representatives of manufacturers, vendors or third-parties, and customer representatives.
- Ability to work well under pressure and under stressful conditions.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize and timely and satisfactorily complete many different tasks.

**Working Environment/Physical Requirements**:

- The duties of this position generally involve sedentary office work.
- Minimal physical activity is required.
- Ability to lift items up to 10 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to sit, talk, see and hear.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop/bend, lift, and frequent repetitive motion and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and normal vision.
- Frequent use of technical office equipment including personal computer, document preparation equipment, copier, postage equipment, telephone and fax machine.
- The position requires communication with Company employees, customers and other individuals.
