We are currently looking for Buyer to work at our Elie, Manitoba location.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Planning, ordering, and maintaining material inventories to ensure availability of parts for manufacturing
- Generates purchase orders in order to ensure production targets are met
- Work with the Engineering department to make sure that technical specifications of the stocks are correct
- Works with suppliers on planning inbound deliveries and expedites accordingly
- Perform cost comparisons and identify cost savings opportunities.
- Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers/trades.
- Negotiate pricing and payment terms with existing and new vendors
- Assist in settling invoice or contract disputes

**Requirements**:

- Supply Chain Management designation
- 5 years’ or equivalent related experience in Purchasing, Inventory Control
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of MRP systems
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Knowledge of Infor CloudSuite Industrial is an advantage

**MUST be willing to work at Elie, Manitoba**
