Within the framework of the Adult/Youth Addiction Programs, the Adult Live-in Treatment Team Lead is responsible for duties required to ensure the program at the Sister Margaret Smith Centre operates effectively. It is the role of the Team Lead to: maintain and enforce the daily schedule, ensure adequate resources are available, provide orientation and instruction to Addiction Workers, Addiction Crisis Workers and Youth Workers, correspond with the Nurse Practitioner to ensure medical needs of clients are met, monitor supplies to ensure availability and order as needed, oversee the admission/discharge of clients in live-in treatment, day treatment and stabilization, act as a liaison between referents and Medical Services, and act as the preceptor for appropriate level College students.

Applicants must possess a two year Diploma in a Post Secondary Human Services field and one year working experience or specialized training in addictions, must have working knowledge of addictions and familiarity with working in an adult residential setting including crisis intervention skills, must have good interpersonal and communication skills and must be able to work any shifts as requested.
