**The Position Highlights**
- Print Support Technician
- Location: Victoria, BC - Print Solutions Services

**Commitment and Term**
- Full-Time, permanent
- Hours: Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm, with some after-hours support required as needed

**Primary Focus**
- Provide onsite and remote break/fix support on network infrastructures for hardware and software on servers, workstations and copiers/printers
- Investigating, troubleshooting, problem solving and resolving technical related issues including root cause analysis, testing and documentation.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing client service issues
- Providing Print Sales Support
- Consulting and providing basic end user training on workstations, copiers and printers
- Administrative tasks as required
- Time keeping and documentation maintenance
- Customer feedback
- Remote software troubleshooting and support
- Assisting Team members as required
- Assisting with moving copiers and printers occassionally

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Knowledge of printers, copiers, Windows OS, MS office products, IT and Networking are advantageous
- A high school diploma is required, and industry certifications such as HP, Toshiba, A+ and Networking+, MCSE are desirable
- At least 2 years experience in a technical support role or an appropriate combination of education and experience would be considered
- Client focused and excellent client service skills
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Work well as part of a team as well as independently
- Work efficiently under pressure and remain calm in tense situations
- Ability to multi-task as calls may come in at anytime during the day
- Good organizational and prioritizing skills
- Able to pay attention to details and follow processes
- Trustworthy with high ethical standards
- Ability to think logically and analyze complex problems
- Mechanically inclined as the job may include taking apart, repair and assembly of printers/copiers
- Software Troubleshooting
- Willingness to learn and progress IT qualifications

**Working Conditions**
- Must be physically capable of moving 75lbs.
- Primarily, this position will be based in Victoria but may require travel to surrounding areas.
- Unscheduled, after-hours support and on call may be required occasionally
- Travel is necessary. Own vehicle is required.

**Contacts
- Professional Support Solutions (PSS) and Print Solutions (PSol): These are the teams you work within daily to provide support with IT and print devices.
- Clients: who require support and service on their print/copier devices and relating software.

**Reporting Relationships**
- No Co-workers report to the Print and IT consultant role

**Additional Comments**
- Copier/Print experience preferred
- Background checks and other assessments are conditions of employment.
- Client specific assessments (e.g. drug testing) may be required
