Senior Finance Analyst, FP&A- Transaction Banking

Description The Senior Analyst, FP&A is responsible for supporting the financial performance management of Transaction Banking. The role focuses on forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and delivering analytical insights that help guide business strategy. The successful candidate will partner closely with Finance, Product, and leadership teams to provide value-added analysis, streamline processes, and enhance reporting capabilities.Key AccountabilitiesSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles, including forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.Develop and maintain financial models to support performance analysis and business initiatives.Prepare management reporting, dashboards, and executive-level presentations with clear, concise commentary.Complete variance analysis and identify key drivers and emerging trends.Partner with GTB stakeholders to assess financial implications of new products, pricing initiatives, and investment decisions.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including reporting optimization, data quality enhancements, and process efficiencies.Job RequirementsUndergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; CPA/CFA designation or progress is an asset.3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, or corporate finance, preferably in banking or financial services.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling capabilities.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey insights clearly to stakeholders.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools is an asset.Technical SkillsExperience with Hyperion (HFM/Planning) and Oracle is highly beneficial.Working knowledge of Clarity is a strong asset, especially for project financials and technology spend reporting.Additional InformationThis role provides exposure to senior business leaders, cross-functional partners, and key strategic initiatives within GTB. The successful candidate will contribute to a high-performing team focused on delivering value-added insights and supporting a strong control and reporting environment. Work activities include a blend of highly collaborative activities and individual deliverables. Individuals are expected to be onsite 4 days a week effective 3 Nov, 2025. Colleagues may spend more or less days in office as required by the business line.
