The role will require working in office, in the downtown Toronto core, 2 to 3 days a week. Key Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Perform in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Develop and maintain complex financial models for business case analysis and strategic initiatives. Prepare and present monthly management reports, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and business drivers. Support strategic decision-making through scenario modeling and financial simulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Operations, Sales, and Marketing to gather inputs and validate financial assumptions. Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, providing explanations for deviations.'Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support operational and strategic objectives. Ensure data accuracy and consistency in financial reporting systems. Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting templates. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred). 4–7+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance. Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools (experience with ERP systems like Sage or GP). Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities. Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
