As we scale up production, we’re looking for an Production Coordinator with strong technical and production knowledge — someone who can bridge the gap between formulation, production, and compliance to ensure consistency, efficiency, and safety across all product lines.What You’ll DoFormulation & Product DevelopmentCollaborate with founders and product team on formulation creation and optimizationMaintain accurate documentation of formulas, batch records, and revisionsSupport scaling recipes from small-batch prototypes to production-ready processesEnsure ingredient sourcing aligns with safety, regulatory, and performance standardsProduction Setup & Line ManagementDesign, set up, and maintain production lines for bath bombs, bath soaks, and accessoriesTrain production staff on processes, equipment use, and SOPsMonitor and refine workflows for efficiency, minimizing waste, and ensuring consistencyTroubleshoot issues with mixing, molding, drying, packaging, or equipment performanceQuality & SafetyEstablish and enforce health, safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards in production areasConduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and staff complianceCreate and maintain safety protocols (chemical handling, PPE, sanitation, spill response, etc.)Oversee quality control — ensure finished products meet specifications for weight, size, texture, scent, and appearanceCompliance & DocumentationMaintain production records, batch logs, and safety data sheets (SDS)Ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations, labeling requirements, and workplace safety lawsDevelop training materials and refreshers for health and safety practicesWork with external auditors or inspectors as neededContinuous ImprovementResearch new techniques, tools, and materials that could improve productionRecommend process automation or efficiency improvements as volumes increaseIdentify risks, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies and propose solutionsWho You Are / What You BringRequired Skills & Experience2–5 years experience in a cosmetic, bath & body, or related manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of formulation principles (especially with powders, oils, fragrances, and colorants)Experience setting up and managing production lines or small-scale manufacturing operationsKnowledge of health & safety regulations, GMP, and handling cosmetic ingredientsExcellent attention to detail and documentation disciplineAbility to train, supervise, and motivate production staffProblem-solving mindset with ability to adapt processes as volumes growPreferred / Nice to HavePrevious experience in bath bombs, soaps, skincare, or cosmetics manufacturingFamiliarity with Canadian/US cosmetic product compliance and regulatory frameworksBackground in chemistry, cosmetic science, or related technical fieldExperience in scaling small-batch recipes to large-scale productionWhy Join UsBe part of a creative, mission-driven team bringing joy through self-care productsOpportunity to shape the foundation of our production systems and safety cultureCareer growth into senior operations, production management, or compliance rolesCompetitive salary + benefits (to be discussed)A chance to innovate in a fun and fast-moving product category
