Learn more.We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to drive technology initiatives that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our Studio Operations and Production Management teams. In this execution-focused role, you will lead projects that improve workflows from sourcing and tracking new business leads, project bidding, and scenario planning to crew management and production oversight on platforms like ShotGrid. By implementing innovative tools, integrations, and automation you will play a pivotal role in helping Eyeline to scale our impact across the most exciting and impactful titles. Success in the role requires strong stakeholder management by building strong relationships and collaborating closely with a diverse group of stakeholders - including Production Leadership, Workforce Management, and Finance. Your leadership will ensure that technology solutions deliver tangible operational improvements and support our studios strategic goals. Key ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional projects, focused on Studio Operations and Production Management, from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with initiatives goalsTurn greenlit initiatives into structured projects, establishing scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with identified stakeholdersCreate clear, phased roadmaps that outline which solutions, tools, or workflows to implement first based on maximum impact and feasibilityManage stakeholder communication, keeping all business units informed, aligned, and engaged throughout the project lifecycleProactively escalate challenges to key business leaders, assess possible scenarios, and develop potential solutions with trade-offs to support informed decision-makingEnsure reporting follows best practices, providing visibility into project status, key milestones, and risksIdentify and bring together SMEs and key users from Production, Finance, and other relevant departments. Implement project champion groups where applicable that can provide continuous feedback, and help ensure the solutions being developed are practical and address real-people problemsSupport operational handovers, ensuring a seamless transition to long-term owners such as operations and production teamsProvide project management guidance to non-Project Management-led initiatives, offering best practices, frameworks, and tools to help teams structure and manage their projects effectively, even when a dedicated Project Manager is not assignedQualificationsBachelors degree in project management, business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experienceStrong understanding of core project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches; PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications are a plusMinimum 7 years of experience in Visual Effects, Studio Operations, and Production Management, with at least 3 years in a project management capacityExperience managing projects across different lifecycles, including software development, creative production (e.g., VFX, animation, design), operational process improvements, infrastructure deployments, and product launchesExperience working with production tools like Shotgrid and various crew management toolsExcellent interpersonal skills to lead and align multi-disciplinary teams, including senior stakeholdersEffective communication and listening skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly, inspire teams, and facilitate productive discussionsStrong leadership qualitiesable to support, coach, and advocate for teams while maintaining focus on overall business goalsHigh adaptability and resilience, with the ability to navigate change and shifting priorities effectivelyExceptional time management and organizational skills, capable of maintaining structured project plans and managing data within project management toolsThis salary range is specific to applicants applying to our position in Vancouver, BC. To determine your base salary, we consider your qualifications, skills, and experience.
