Job descriptionMiyagi, a well-established company with an excellent reputation, is looking for a dynamic and organized Accounting Technician to join our training and change management consulting firm. The Accounting Technician will be responsible for managing accounting operations, assisting in the preparation of financial statements and providing administrative support to the company's various financial functions.ResponsabilitiesEnter and verify accounting entries.Record and verify financial transactions in the Acomba accounting system.Perform monthly bank reconciliations.Prepare and submit tax and government returns.Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including budget management, invoice entry, payment management and cash receipt follow-up.Manage payrollAssist the Administrative Assistant in responding to customer and supplier requests and queries regarding invoices and payments.Assist in the preparation of internal and external audits.Summary of required experience and skills Degree in accounting, finance or related field.3 to 5 years' experience in a similar position.Proficiency in Acomba accounting software and office tools (MS Excel, Word, Google Suite, etc.).Good understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.Thoroughness, organization, resourcefulness and respect for deadlines.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent written and oral communication skills (French/English).Working conditionsPart-time position: 30-40 hours per month.Salary: according to experience.100% telecommuting.Flexible work schedule.Collaborative and dynamic work environment.Who are you?You are a team player who can work independently.
