We're seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team in London, ON. As a Business Development Manager, you'll play an important role in contributing to the branch's growth, meeting with clients from London to Tillsonburg and everything in between.What We Offer:Hybrid work environment (2 days in-person, 3 remote)Excellent base salary along with a very competitive commission structureMileage allowance3 weeks vacation10 paid sick daysCompany benefits and pension enrollment after three monthsIncredible opportunities for growth within the organizationOngoing training and supportA fun, open, and collaborative work environmentRewards for top performersWhat You’ll Do:Maintain a thorough awareness of local markets (London and surrounding areas) to identify new business opportunities.Use your exceptional hunting skills to identify, secure, and manage new sales opportunities within your region via cold calling, networking, lead follow-up, presentations, and creative selling.Continue to foster existing client relationships, ensuring awareness of Drake’s solutions and cross-selling for further revenue growth.Meet with clients to gather accurate information regarding current and anticipated requirements, conduct service reviews, and complete safety tours.Prepare professional pricing presentations and handle all negotiations to ensure client satisfaction and profitability for Drake.Position Drake as a trusted, expert advisor on all HR and productivity issues through our “One Drake” talent management approachEnsure quick action to address client concerns or service issues, working with your Manager to provide a solution within 24 hours.Effectively manage your sales pipeline through our ATS system, ensuring opportunities are documented and moving through the sales cycle.Submit weekly sales activity reports and sales plans.What We're Looking For:Sales is in your DNA. You love the thrill of uncovering new business opportunities and have an exceptional ability to foster long-term client relationships with an emphasis on total quality management.You have 2+ years of experience working in a B2B sales environment, preferably in a service industry (bonus points if you have industry experience).Cold calling is something you are not afraid of and tackle each day with enthusiasm.You are solutions-oriented with a holistic, custom approach versus one-size-fits-all; you believe in making the client experience with Drake genuine.You are comfortable with set KPIs and driven to exceed expectations.Strong communication skills (written and oral), critical thinking, and a competitive nature are things you take pride in.You are results-driven, hardworking, and love to share and contribute new ideas for sales growth.Self-motivated, you work well independently but love being part of a team.You are growth-minded with a desire to advance your career within an organization.Must reside within the sales territory.Our team is eager to connect with candidates who meet the job requirements.
