The Senior Business Analyst supports an Analytics and Revenue Operations team. The team is seeking a highly analytical and meticulous Business Analyst with a solid focus on data analytics, forecasting, research, and project management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business and market data, developing predictive models, conducting in-depth research, and managing projects that drive strategic decision-making. This role requires proficiency in data analytics tools, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Analyze large datasets with structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business strategyDevelop forecasting models using statistical techniques to predict market trends, sales, and business performanceUtilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Python, SQL) to create reports, dashboards and presentations to different stakeholders up to C-suite levelOptimize data collection and validation processes for accuracy and efficiency, troubleshooting data integrity issues and proposing solution recommendationsCollaborate with stakeholders to gather key requirements (project and contract information, accounting rules)Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, and functional specificationsFunction as a bridge between business teams, leadership and executives, ensuring smooth communication and providing information for data-driven decision-making across the organizationWork across departments, resolving issues related to forecast/actual variances, billing issues, project information and revenue recognition roadblocksSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate solutions against business requirementsAssist in ad hoc projects, research, planning, coordination, and implementation of processesTranslate complex data insights into actionable business recommendationsSupport business planning through scenario modeling and "what-if" analyses

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with revenue operations related activities (sales pipeline monitoring, contracts interpretation, revenue forecasting, accounting rules validation, billing terms)3+ years of experience with intermediate level of proficiency with visual analytics tools (ability to create and maintain complex dashboards and visualizations)3+ years of experience with intermediate level of proficiency in SQL (ability to understand and write complex queries, data modeling, and optimization)2+ years of experience in a business analytics, data analytics or related analytical role Experience communicating with and providing recommendations to senior leadershipSolid understanding of statistical methods, forecasting techniques, data modeling, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilitiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables, charts)Currently reside in Canada 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Business Intelligence in Healthcare and/or in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Experience working with large data sets (over ,+ lines) Experience with ASC and SaaS modelsIntermediate level of understanding of Accounting principlesAdvanced visual analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI or equivalent) proficiency Advanced SQL proficiency Intuitive and skilled at problem solvingProven ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment

The salary/hourly range for Canada residents is $61, to $ , annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
