Position Description: We are hiring a Administrative Assistant is responsible for: Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable (AR/AP) for the Business Unit(s). WIP/Accruals.  Job Costing / Stock Transfers. Purchase Order Entry.  Tracks Backorders and credits with suppliers. Updates PO and estimate templates based on vendor's updated pricing. Project entry into SDG (industry specific software). Payroll data entry functions. Orders office supplies for Business Unit(s). Creates, distributes and tracks ITF (Internal Transfer of Funds) – ensures all applicable ITF's are signed prior to Month End. Maintains accuracy of employee safety records, on a regular basis. Completes project binders and documentation. Maintains business unit record and compile statistical reports within accounting package. Composes routine correspondence, as directed by the business unit manager. Manages incoming and outgoing faxes. Reception duties as required. Complies with standards and procedures of PTW's Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations. Requirements:? 5+ years' experience in an administrative role. Post-secondary education is an asset. Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook). Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda, minutes and reports. Exceptional time-management skills; ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quickly. Previous experience with basic accounting functions is an asset. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrates professionalism and a customer service approach. Detail oriented and outstanding organizational skills required.
