We are currently looking for a BAR MANAGER to join our dynamic team at RILEY’S FISH+STEAK TORONTO. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Manage the bar within the policies and procedures of Glowbal Restaurant Group · Respond to customer service needs · Rotate between bars and assist with bar services as needed · Role model leadership behaviors in the restaurant · Conduct bar inventory as scheduled · Order all spirits and beers for restaurant · Track bar invoices, product arrival, and beverage costs · Develop seasonal cocktail menus and submit beverage costing to General Manager · Create beverage specification sheets for training and distribution to all FOH staff · Recognize and motivate members of the team · Coach and train the team towards individual success and operational excellence · Ensure guest satisfaction and profit maximization SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: · 2+ years of relevant management experience · 4+ years of relevant bartending experience · Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service an asset · Technically competent with industry related forms of computer and electronic commerce · Strong problem-solving abilities, communication and inter-personal skills · Excellent organization and time management skills · Ability to set priorities for self and others · Ability to develop and motivate staff to achieve challenging goals · 'Hands-on' management style · Exceptional leadership skills · Commitment to exceeding guest expectations TO WORK FOR US: You MUST have valid proof of Social Insurance Number and be legal to work in Canada with proof as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Residence or Valid Work Permit.
