This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, automotive repair skills, and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.What drives your day-to-day?Perform bodywork tasks, applying filler, shaping, forming, sanding, priming, and paintingRepair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including body panels, fenders, doors, and bumpersAlign and fit vehicle components to the original pre-conditionInspect vehicles for additional damageAssess Frame with Car-O-Liner measurement systemClamp down and pull for mash and swaySection-in frame rails, quarter panels, rockers, pillarsUse spot welder, miracle dent puller, mig welderAttention to detail, panel dry fit, smooth/clean repairAbility to work independently and as part of our teamMaintain a clean and organized work area.Follow safety procedures and guidelinesWhat are the must-haves…Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training coursesKnowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes & adherence to processesAbility to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectivelyI-CAR certification training and I-CAR certification would be considered assetsMust possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving historyThe Perks.Competitive Compensation and Benefits PackageEmployee Vehicle Purchase & Service PlansEmployee and Family Assistance ProgramsCompany-wide appreciation events and contests throughout the calendar year Professional development and the opportunity to grow your career And those are just the basics.
