- **Your area of focus.**
- As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, automotive repair skills, and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
- **What drives your day-to-day?**
- Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including body panels, fenders, doors, and bumpers
- Align and fit vehicle components to the original pre-condition
- Inspect vehicles for additional damage
- Assess Frame with Car-O-Liner measurement system
- Clamp down and pull for mash and sway
- Section-in frame rails, quarter panels, rockers, pillars
- Use spot welder, miracle dent puller, mig welder
- Attention to detail, panel dry fit, smooth/clean repair
- Ability to work independently and as part of our team
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow safety procedures and guidelines
**What are the must-haves**
- Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset
- Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses
- Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes & adherence to processes
- Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively
- I-CAR certification training and I-CAR certification would be considered assetsMust possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history
