FLOFORM manufactures, sells and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops a year.  Established in 1961, FLOFORM is proud to be one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. Required immediately, our Saskatoon Stone Plant is seeking a Full Time Operations Manager Our Stone Countertop manufacturing facility in Saskatoon is growing fast As we continually invest in state-of-the-art equipment in the shop, we are also looking to strengthen our team who work around the clock producing high quality countertops.Position Summary: The Stone Plant Operations Manager is accountable for all operations at the Plant, providing leadership to achieve Company performance goals while living the core values of the organization. Builds a dynamic team culture through effective communication, coaching, training and development. Anticipates and overcomes challenges with resilience, adaptability and decisiveness to maintain safe and efficient operations. Duties And Responsibilities:Core Responsibilities:Provides hands on leadership and determination to meet projected capacity, revenue and performance targets (AOP Budgets)Manages all plant activities, developing effective systems to meet the needs of the customer and the companyManages, coaches and develops staff, with a focus on building a strong team culture Other Responsibilities:Maintains an active shop presence, with strong knowledge of all materials and processesAnalyze and documents business processes and problems; develops and implements efficient solutionsReviews master production schedule; collaborates with admin teams to prioritize/revise as neededCreates and manages Key Metrics for plant performance, communicating performance to all teams Proactively monitors plant performance, escalating and communicating to prevent/resolve issues quicklyResponds to and resolve escalated Branch issues/questions with urgency to ensure customer satisfactionMaintains strong knowledge of leadership and industry best practices through continuous learningLeads by example and acts as an advocate for safe work practices and the importance of PPEConducts departmental meetings to improve training and open team communicationCollaborates with plant/admin teams, ensuring material availability and effective inventory systems and reportingWorks with executive team to plan forecasts, budgets and capital expenditure projectsOther duties as assignedQualifications:5+ years manufacturing experience in a leadership capacity  Advanced computer skills, experienced with Microsoft Office, ability to learn other software as needed Ability to plan, adapt and be decisive to solve problems, often in ambiguous situationsEffective communication skillsAbility to maintain calm, approachable demeanor with challenging situations/deadlines Ability to coach, train and develop employees Capable of mastering specialized equipmentAbility to interpret technical drawings and perform accurate measurementsAble to lift 100lbs assisted occasionallyRegular lifting, bending and twistingFloform is proud to offer the successful candidate:Competitive WagesMedical and Dental BenefitsRRSPFLOFORM Countertops offers a positive and fun working environment that rewards those who share in our mission: “To consistently provide our customers the best countertop purchasing experience available.”Should this opportunity be of interest to you, send a resume to www.flofrm.com/careers.We look forward to meeting youTo learn more about us we encourage all applicants to visit our website at www.floform.com.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
