Location: Toronto, Ontario Duration: 06 Months Experience Required: 6 years Job Description: The Quality Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. This role requires strong QA automation skills and a conceptual understanding of AI technologies to effectively test AI-driven features and collaborate with AI teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. Familiarity with CICD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured. Basic understanding of AI concepts, including large language models and recommendation systems. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, QA, or a related field. Certifications in ISTQB, AI/ML fundamentals, or cloud testing. Experience in conducting load and stress testing using tools like JMeter or Locust. Awareness of how AI-generated content affects test cases and validation. Understanding of bias, accuracy, and ethical considerations in AI outputs. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Design and implement automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Maintain and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and performance. Execute automated and manual tests to validate application functionality. Ensure regression coverage for new features and releases. Validate AI outputs for consistency, usability, and compliance with business rules. Work closely with developers, AI engineers, and product teams to clarify requirements. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CICD).
