Hiring QA Automation Lead in Toronto, Ontario

Location: Toronto, Ontario Duration: 06 Months Job Description: Oversees quality assurance efforts, managing teams and processes to ensure software products meet standards before release. Key responsibilities include defining test strategies, creating and approving test plans and scripts, monitoring product quality through metrics, and leading regression, UAT, and performance testing efforts. Designs, develops, and maintains automated tests and frameworks to ensure software quality, working with development teams to identify defects early and integrate testing into the Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipeline. Key responsibilities include writing test scripts, executing tests, analyzing results, reporting bugs, and staying updated on testing tools and trends. Analyzes, develops, tests, and implements new software programs, and documentation of entire software development life cycle execution. Performs preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault rectification of system and core software components. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in QA Automation and leading QA teams Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Experience with cloud-based testing environments Familiarity with Agile methodologies Knowledge of performance testing tools Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Define and implement QA strategies and processes Create and approve test plans and scripts Monitor product quality through metrics and lead testing efforts Collaborate with development teams to ensure early defect detection For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
