Location: Toronto, Ontario Duration: 06 Months Experience Required: 10 Years Job Description: We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Lead in Test Automation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation frameworks and test design, particularly in Selenium with Java. This role involves creating test automation strategies, collaborating on framework selection, and implementing best practices at a portfolio level. The candidate will manage a Quality Engineering (QE) team, clarify requirements, and develop an automated testing solution focusing on optimized test coverage, service virtualization, high performance, and easy maintainability. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7-10 years of experience in Test Automation Strong knowledge of Selenium and Java Experience with automation frameworks and web services/API concepts Proficiency in software delivery methodologies such as Agile Working knowledge of git & bitbucket Experience with Client ALM, JIRA, and Confluence Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Experience in leading a QE team Familiarity with service virtualization Skills in developing high-performance, maintainable testing solutions Experience in collaborating with enterprise-level teams Ability to solicit requirements and connect with project stakeholders Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Develop and implement test automation strategies Collaborate on the selection and implementation of automation frameworks Manage and guide the QE team in automation approaches Ensure optimized test coverage and maintainability of automated solutions For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
