Schneider Electric Canada has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate/motivated individual to assume the role of Account Manager - Home Hardware Canada. This role within our Home & Commercial Solutions Business Division will be focused on managing and growing this critical account. What will you do? In this national role, you will: * Develop and execute a Strategic Account Plan for Home Hardware and manage on-going * Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters * Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships at all levels within Home Hardware Canada organization * Develop trusted advisor relationships within the account including customer stakeholders and executive sponsors * Negotiate contracts and close agreements and establishing a timeline of performance * Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products and solutions according to customer needs and objectives * Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders * Forecast, analyze customer data and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and present the progress on a quarterly basis * Prepare and maintain on-going a detailed Account Plan for Home Hardware Canada * Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed What qualifications will make you successful for this role? If you do not necessarily meet all the requirements that are listed, we still encourage you to apply for the position. * 8+ years of proven work experience with a large national retail client (Home Hardware or similar) as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, or other equivalent role * Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in a relevant discipline * Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level * Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs * Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail * Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities * Ability to excel within a cross-functional team environment * Ability to travel about 30% of the time nationally and sometimes internationally Let us learn about you Apply today.
