This position is responsible to execute HR tasks while displaying professional conduct in the service delivery of all HR functions. This position is a key business partner to all departments within the facility, providing them with information and support for issues related to their employment including recruitment, company benefits, policies and procedures. This position requires an organized individual that can adapt to rapidly changing demands and priorities while dealing with very sensitive and confidential information.There are no physical demands on the incumbent however extended periods of time will be spent at a computer. The individual will be working in a customer orientated environment and therefore must be a patient individual capable of maintaining focus while interruptions are ongoing. Working environment is in an area that is well ventilated and air-conditioned. Overtime may be required from time to timeWhat you’ll do:General administration of confidential and highly sensitive informationSupport the recruitment and onboarding processSupport meetings, including organization and preparation Perform activities and maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system Support the Learning & Development function with administrative tasksRespond to emails and draft correspondence include offers of employment, personnel letters, government forms, etc.Assist in the assignment OJT and Co-op school placementsRespond to employment questions from potential applicants and the general public. Actively participate in the Company’s employment equity goalsAssist in the coordination of various employee events and fundraising events.Assist payroll department by providing employee information on leaves and employee benefits.Basic Qualifications: Current enrolment in post-secondary study in the field of HR Management or Business Administration or the desire to pursue post-secondary education in these fields.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Characteristics:Exposure to an administrative role in a sensitive, fast-paced, confidential work environment is an assetAbility to act with professional integrity, discretion, and maintain confidentiality at all timesExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsAbility to work independently, remain self-motivated and accountable, and meet deadlinesPositive attitude with a strong desire to work collaboratively as part of a teamFlexible and adaptable to the evolving needs of the roleAbility to balance competing priorities to ensure deadlines and expectations are metStrong customer-focused mindsetExcellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectivelyConsistently maintains high standards of accuracyRaising the Standard of Excellence since 1911With over a century of proven excellence, StandardAero has become an industry leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field.
