This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities Deliver warm, welcoming, and professional service to all guests and team members Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, following hotel credit and cash handling procedures Create, modify, and cancel guest reservations accurately Engage with guests throughout their stay, responding to inquiries, special requests, and service needs Answer incoming and outgoing calls promptly and professionally Resolve guest concerns and complaints in a courteous and timely manner Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, daily rates, and local attractions Review logbooks, emails, and daily checklists, completing assigned tasks Balance and prepare shift paperwork according to hotel standards Communicate and collaborate effectively with all hotel departments Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Department Manager What We’re Looking For Previous customer service experience; hotel front desk experience is preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; Maestro or Opera experience is an asset Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment Strong problem-solving skills with a self-motivated approach Friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
