People like youWe are currently seeking a Journeyman Millwright for a full time, permanent job opportunity to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the primary roles and responsibilities of a Journeyman Millwright are to install new machinery, repair and replace defective machine parts or machinery and ensure machines work properly in production facility while respecting the company’s safety rules and regulations ultimately creating a safe and orderly workplace. Shift structure consists of 12hr shifts on rotation between days and nights including weekends.Key Responsibilities:Repair broken or defective machine parts, using welding and brazing tools.Align equipment by using specialized tools.Review and follow highly technical and complex machinery manuals. Disassemble machine parts repair them and reassemble the parts.Collect and store distinct machinery parts.Trouble shoot and repair shingle manufacturing equipment.Qualifications:Ticketed Interprovincial Millwright License is required.Previous maintenance experience in an industrial plant/manufacturing setting is an assetMust be able to learn computer-based maintenance softwareMust possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and organizational skills are essentialAbility to manage time effectively while handling multiple jobs with varying prioritiesMust be able to work in a team setting with other tradesmanBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
