Penningtons.Job DescriptionAs a Team Lead, you will collaborate with the management team to keep operations running smoothly and inspire the team to deliver an outstanding customer experience. With your leadership, sense of style, and hands-on approach, you will help create a vibrant, organized, and customer-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport store performance by contributing to the achievement of sales goals and ensuring alignment with company objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).Assist with day-to-day operations, including compliance with policies and procedures, loss prevention, opening and closing routines, cash management, report generation, and scheduling support.Maintain high standards of merchandising and visual presentation to ensure a clean, consistent, and welcoming environment that enhances the customer experience.Coach and develop the team through ongoing training and constructive feedback to strengthen skills, confidence, and overall performance.Promote effective communication with the Store Manager to ensure alignment, smooth operations, and timely execution of priorities.Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure aligned priorities, effective communication, and the swift execution of action plans.Model a customer-first mindset by leading on the sales floor, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring every interaction reflects our service standards.Qualifications6+ months of leadership or supervisory experience in a retail or customer-focused environment.Ability to motivate, support, and guide a team toward shared goals.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Customer-focused mindset with the ability to create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of store operations, including scheduling, cash management, merchandising, and inventory flow.Passion for fashion: good sense of style and solid knowledge of fashion trends.Proficient in POS, ERP, ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.Flexible availability; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder reaching up to 3 m (10 feet).High school diploma required.Additional InformationWhat Sets Us ApartHiring rate at $ above minimum wage (rate may be greater based on relevant experience)Exclusive Benefits:Paid Time Off*: Flexible days and vacation time to help you balance school, work and personal lifeFlexible Hours: We adapt to your availability to offer a schedule that fits your needsCareer Advancement*: Opportunities for professional growth and career developmentEnjoy up to 70% off* on personal purchases in your store and 50% off all RCL brands (Reitmans, RW&CO, PENN.
