Randstad's client is seeking a talented Temporary Payroll Administrator to support them on their Finance and Administration team in Victoria, BC.In this Temporary full-time role, you will be responsible for handling payroll for 300 employees across Vancouver Island, ensuring everything is accurate, confidential, and processed on time.If you are ready to bring your payroll expertise to the table, this is the perfect opportunityAdvantages• Pay Range of $29/hour to $32/hour• Monday to Friday• Hours 8:30am-4:30pm• Full-time, temporary employment with a supportive team• Opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission within the communityResponsibilities• Process bi-weekly payroll and issue required documents (e.g., T4, T4A, Record of Employment) • Remit payroll deductions to relevant agencies • Administer employee benefits (pensions, LTD, WorkSafeBC) • Maintain personnel records and process contracts • Manage salary data and ensure grid/FTE alignment • Handle payroll and benefits inquiries confidentially • Reconcile general ledger accounts and report • Review and process timecard entries • Perform other duties as assignedQualifications• 5+ years of payroll and benefits experience • Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification or similar • Comfortable working in a Catholic Faith-Based environment • Experience in education or unionized sectors • Strong communication and confidentiality skills • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and payroll software • Detail-oriented with experience handling sensitive information • Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliationsSummaryTwo easy ways to apply:1.
