You will be reporting to the Finance Manager, and your day-to-day duties will include: preparing and posting month-end journal entries, preparing assigned monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations, completing all required monthly accounting procedures, investigating and analyzing account variances and supporting the interim/year-end audit. Working as part of a supportive team, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your career with a leading organization. What You'll be Doing:Complete month-end tasks including journal entries, and the monthly reconciliations including AR, customer deposit, fixed asset, and clearing accountsComplete balance sheet reconciliations with supporting documents, and investigate aged item when necessaryReconciling invoices and dataset between systemsReview and analyze Balance Sheet and P&L account variances/movements, and use analytical skills to assess a variety of financial data, consult other staff members when neededProvide assistance and support in the month-end/year-end close processesSupport the completion of monthly consolidated financial statements that accurately reflect the financial performance of the companySupport the interim/year-end audit processes, and any regulatory and/or local statutory financial statement auditsPerform other ad hoc projects/assignments as required by managementWork closely with the Finance team within the group of companiesLiaise with business partners in the corporate office to ensure an effective communication processDesired Skills & Abilities:1+ years of experience in accountingCertificate or Diploma in Accounting or Finance (or Similar)Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to manage multiple concurrent tasks to meet deadlinesFast learner and show strong analytical and problem-solving skillsPerform a high volume of numerical work with speed and accuracyExcellent English skills (written and oral)Extremely detail oriented and customer service orientedGood understanding and use of financial and operating systemsPrevious experience within a travel related business is a bonusProven ability to work in a fast-paced, environment, with strict deadlinesSelf-motivated and goal orientedConfident, Customer service oriented with a flexible and cooperative approachWhat do we offer you?Competitive salary commensurate with the roleCompetitive benefits package Birthday day offVacation time for you to rechargeEnhanced Parental LeaveLearning and growth opportunitiesEmployee Resource Groups*Applicable based on location*G Adventures is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
