SharePoint Analyst Back to All Jobs [social_share] Our client requires a SharePoint Analyst to be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for the client’s SharePoint environments. The SharePoint Analyst will collaborate closely with end-users, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of SharePoint sites and applications. The SharePoint Analyst will review and understand departmental and corporate policies, business rules, data requirements and supporting system processes and ensure that project objectives and schedules align with the overall department goals and the corporate business plan. The SharePoint Analyst will provide analysis and recommendations on process improvements and to applications, SharePoint sites, hosting infrastructure and include details of risks, dependencies, business impacts, interdependencies, and policy implications pertaining to internal/external expectations and influence the methodology to be applied on projects. Resource will work remotely but must be available to be on-site when requested for meetings. Standard Hours of work are 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time. Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues. Resource is responsible to pay for travel to on-site meetings. Edmonton, Alberta (Remote within Canada) Mandatory Requirements Must meet or exceed one of the following: University graduation in computer science or a related discipline and 4-yr relevant experience; OR 2-yr diploma in computer science or a related discipline and 6-yr relevant experience; OR 1-yr certificate in computer science or a related discipline and 7-yr relevant experience; OR a currently active professional certification or accreditation and 8-yr relevant experience 2 years’ experience as a Site Collection Administrator. 2 years’ experience preparing and documenting materials for user acceptance testing. 2 years’ experience troubleshooting forms and workflows (all types). 2 years’ experience using and supporting ShareGate. 2 years’ experience with complex SharePoint projects including solutions depending on: managed metadata, workflows, forms, and user interface customization. 2 years’ experience with the development, integration, and support of Microsoft SharePoint 2016 and Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online. Desirable Requirements 2 years’ experience applying patches/updates to SharePoint environments. 2 years’ experience in developing integrated system and technical design specifications on complex engagements. 2 years’ experience using PowerShell to manage Farm/Application/Site Collection/Site Features. 2 years’ experience with disaster recovery testing 2 years’ experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online admin portal, reporting, configuration, and administrative tasks. 1 year experience with public sector Information Technology/Information Management policies, standards and guidelines. 2 years’ experience with the use of Central Administration on a SharePoint environment. 2 years’ experience with upgrading Microsoft SharePoint environments and migration of content.
