The Manager, Business Analysis contributes to the overall success of the Automotive Finance business-line in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensure all activities conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures for Automotive Finance. In this role, the successful applicant will work with autonomy and minimal guidance, utilizing the Agile methodologies to ensure solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing cross functional teams, confirming that capabilities are in-scope, on-time and of high quality. You will translate business line directives and customer needs and be a conduit and the primary source of external information for the Scrum teams, offering clear definitions of the targeted capability, the intended value to the customer, and functional/non-functional requirements. The Manager Business Analyst assists in the gathering of requirements, development of product roadmaps, refine, and prioritize initiatives, with clearly articulated acceptance criteria. Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with all stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document clear and concise requirements for IT aligned with project goals. User Story Development: Work with development teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria. Initiative Prioritization: Manage and prioritize initiatives, ensuring sufficient depth and readiness for development, consumption, and commitment, working within established roadmap timelines. Stakeholder Engagement: Lead communications on product releases, capabilities, and implementation, addressing operating models, training, quality assurance, and related business activities. System Enhancements & Project Coordination: Manage system enhancements and special projects, coordinating project schedules across cross-functional teams using Agile and project management methodologies. Agile Approach: Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to support successful delivery. Quality Assurance: Review QA test plans for alignment with acceptance criteria and facilitate testing to ensure functional requirements are met. Process Improvement & Continuous Learning: Identify process improvements to enhance team efficiency while staying current with industry trends, best practices, and new tools. Liaison & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal business units, including IT&S, Automotive Business Partners and external vendors to ensure operational alignment and requirements to manage system maintenance, enhancements, and required changes. Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to the Bank’s risk appetite and regulatory frameworks, including AML/ATF and operational risk, in day-to-day decision-making to support investigating and resolving operational and compliance issues. Champions an innovative & high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment, focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Ability to adapt quickly to everchanging market conditions, regulatory and compliance requirements and Automotive Finance and/or Canadian Banking strategic initiatives.
