RIMEX also offers a full range of complementary products to match their wheel counterparts.Our continued growth and development has created a need for a Machinist - Vertical Boring Mill in our Saskatoon branch.The position is full time - 40 hours per week, with possible shift work. We offer competitive wages as well as a comprehensive benefit package after the completion of the probationary period.Position requirements:Key Responsibilities:Complete set up sheets; documenting new product requirements for approvalSet up the machines properly and ensure that they are working at full capacityDetermine and then run the appropriate program for each job; make adjustments as needed to ensure quality product.Load and unload the machines with the required productsCheck and measure partsChange the inserts when requiredOperate all equipment, including in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and proceduresGeneral clean up of working area to help maintain a safe working environmentEducation & Experience:Skills and AbilitiesHigh school diploma or equivalentRed seal certification or working towards certification requiredMust have Vertical Boring Mill & Turning experienceExperience in programming CNC machinesMinimum 3 years of experience in a heavy metal manufacturing environmentExperience in precision machining with tight tolerancesExperience using an overhead crane an assetAbility to lift 50 poundsBenefitsAdvancement Opportunities Great company cultureFamily owned with Family values RRSP ProgramPerformance Incentive Program Competitive wages Company paid events Gift cards Extended health coverage Dental & Vision care Travel Medical insurance Employee assistance programLife Insurance / Accidental Death
