In this role you will be in charge of the following:Product Sourcing & Purchasing: Research, source, and purchase high-quality products and materials, ensuring timely delivery at competitive prices.Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.Inventory Management: Work closely with key stakeholders including Production, Maintenance and Operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring product availability and minimizing excess inventory.Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends and industry changes, identifying new suppliers or cost-saving opportunities.Order Management: Create purchase orders, monitor order status, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.Cost Control: Review supplier invoices, analyze pricing trends, and collaborate with finance to ensure that budget guidelines are adhered to.Quality Assurance: Ensure that products meet company quality standards and resolve any issues with defective or non-conforming goods.Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor communications, and inventory levels; prepare purchasing reports for managementReceiving and issuing parts and cycle counting to maintain optimal stock levels, ensuring product availability and minimizing excess inventoryRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 2-5 years in a purchasing, procurement or warehouse supervisory role.
