Responsibilities What your day will look likeProject Administration:Project Initiation and PlanningSupport execution of agreementsInitiate projects in Dillon’s financial management systemFacilitate project plan completion and distribution to teamSupport health and safety plan preparation and communicationProject ExecutionAssist with the development and maintenance of documentation in accordance with Dillon’s quality management system Undertake document management of pertinent project informationProvide enhanced and embedded project support to meet unique project requirements on an as required basis, including administrative support and task coordination.Project Monitoring, Controlling, and Project ClosingFacilitate monthly invoicingFinancial monitoring, budget analysis, and data entries in Dillon’s financial management systemSupport scope change development and addition to the financial management systemLiaise with Dillon’s finance departmentSupport project close-outGeneral Office SupportAs part of a local administrative team, assist with general office-related administrative activities as required, and contribute to fulfill the variety of tasks necessary to run the office effectivelyLearning and Development A commitment to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development. Qualifications What you will need to succeedMinimum of two years administration related experience or demonstrated combination of education, skills, knowledge and experiencePrior experience in a project administration or project coordination role is considered an assetPost-secondary education in a project management or an administration related program is considered an asset Experience Understanding of basic accounting principles, terms and financial functionsUnderstanding of project management conceptsProficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and ExcelExcellent attention to detail, a high regard for accuracy, and the ability to provide high quality outputs particularly in processing files and records with accuracy;Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (written/verbal) skillsA team player with the ability to multi-task; collaborates with others to promote understanding and provide necessary supportExperience in a Professional Services consulting firm (engineering/environmental/planning) is considered an assetWhy choose DillonDillon is powered by people who are technically proficient, passionate about socially important projects, and motivated to deliver superior, tangible results.
