We are seeking a Specifications Writer who will synthesize, interpret, and compile technical information to create Project Manuals to include procurement, bidding, contract, administrative, and technical requirements for multi-disciplined projects. Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical support to Project Managers, Designers, Job Captains, and Contract Administrators to respond to and resolve issues or concerns Liaise closely with clients to offer technical opinions, recommendations and provide explanations of contract requirement Interpret client’s requirements to ensure specifications are accurate Coordinate engineering discipline specifications for inclusion into Project Manuals Required Skills Architectural or engineering systems design principles Understanding of relevant building codes and jurisdictional requirements Registered with a relevant professional association is an asset Knowledge of Architectural software skills (i.e. AutoCAD, Revit) is an asset Required Experience 10+ years of project work experience Experience in the development of specifications Disclaimer: Please note that the estimated pay range that is provided on various social media sites may not be representative of NORR's range for this position.NORR is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status or characteristic: Race/Color/Gender/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/Religion/National Origin/Disability/Veteran.
