POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for handling all aspects of import shipments from pre-arrival to billing.Dealing directly with clients and operational staff in a friendly considerate manner. Lumber experience is a plus. QUALIFICATION SECTION: The ideal candidate will be well qualified in the following areas: – High School diploma or equivalent – One to two years of brokerage/office experience – Accurate data entry skills – Excellent Communication skills MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Release and classify basic import shipments-May be assigned additional tasks-May be assigned or cross-trained in duties similar to current duties-Stays up to date on Customs and procedure changes-Actively pursue new sales leads and discuss and sell our various services with current clients, sending information timely to manager or other designated person LOOKING FOR A POSITIVE CAN DO ATTITUDE
