Healthway Pharmacy has been serving downtown Winnipeg for over 10 years. With an established practice and valuable clientele, we are looking for an experienced pharmacy technician. The Pharmacy Technician who is responsible for providing customer service in a friendly, knowledgeable and professional manner. The technician is responsible to identify and schedule professional clinical services as well as focus on the achievement of pharmacy excellence in the areas of customer service, workflow efficiencies, and inventory management. Actively contributes to a positive and productive working environment.

Our pharmacies are community-centered practices committed to providing high quality, sustainable health care for our patients. In this position, the pharmacist will be responsible for providing dispensing and clinical services to our patients and ensuring the pharmacy meets all provincial regulations and standards. All applicants must demonstrate a dedication toward patient-centered care and take pride in providing outstanding customer service with excellent communication skills and experience.

We are looking to hire for this position as soon as possible - holidays, weekends and evenings will not be required.

Job Requirements and Description
- Above average communication skills (both oral and written)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast environment
- Prescription assembly - data entry
- Process customer transactions (receive and release prescriptions)
- Receive in-person and telephone refill requests and record deliveries
- Pill Pack Assembly
- Filing prescriptions, ordering and replenishing supplies
- Drug order and receiving
- Administrative Duties: cycle counts, narcotic counts, return to stocks, manual third parties
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards
- Assist with other pharmacy operations as required style

Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant credited course preferred
- Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred
- Fluent in Tagalog (preferred not necessary)
- Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building customer loyalty
- Ability to multi task
- Strong attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
