We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards through a series of analytical tests and quality checks. You will be part of a dedicated team that values accuracy and quality, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products are safe and reliable for consumers.ResponsibilitiesConduct analytical testing on products using calibrated instruments. This includes measuring parameters such as salt content, Brix (sugar content), viscosity, Bostwick consistency, acidity, and pH levels.Perform quality checks throughout the production process, including verifying product weight, checking for leaks, monitoring temperatures, reviewing labels for accuracy, and conducting metal detector checks.Monitor and record cooler and freezer temperatures to ensure products are stored under optimal conditions.Collaborate with various departments to maintain a cohesive and efficient workflow.Document and report all test results and quality issues in a clear and timely manner.QualificationsQualificationsRequired (Must-Haves)A post-secondary diploma or degree in any discipline.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office.The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively with inter-departmental teams.Preferred (Nice-to-Haves)A post-secondary diploma or degree in food science or a related field.Previous work experience in the food manufacturing sector.Prior experience in a quality control role.SummaryPlease send your resume to parneet.kaur@randstad.ca or directly apply to this job adRandstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
