Location Name : VILIA ST-JEAN Location City : Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu Job Status : Permanent: Full Time Job Schedule : Day time Hours per week : 40 Purpose of the position We are looking for a leisure facilitator for our residence in St-Jean.The person sought must be able to provide adapted physical activity sessions for our residents. Full-time position 40 hours per week. Schedule Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 5:00 Specifically, your daily life with us will look like : Welcome the residents and invite them to participate in the activities Animate and oversee supervision during the activities Decorating the premises for special events Manage the logistics pertaining to the activities Regularly validate that activities correspond to the needs and desires of the residents and collaborate with the different departments of the residence to facilitate tasks Plan the activities calendar Promote activities related to the residents Write the in house newspaper as needed and take residents' registrations for the various activities The ideal person has : Good judgment and priority management Good sense of organization Team spirit Demonstrates integrity, empathy and autonomy Versatility Sense of planning Sense of responsibility, autonomy and punctuality bilingual Required qualifications : Collect degree in recreation (DEC) or other related field Experience in managing activities related to older people (an asset) What will you be offered : Free parking Sick days and time off for family obligations Employee Assistance Program Vacation Social Club activities, gifts and substantial discounts Human management approach Challenging opportunities, up to your ambitions Recognition program A welcoming and tight-knit team COGIR Real Estate promotes access to equality in employment.
